Tools for the body, the mind and the moments in between.
You've read it back nine times. Deleted a word, put it back. Sent it. Then reopened the chat to check if it's been read yet, again. The reply comes back completely normal, and for about ten minutes, you feel fine.
Your partner seemed a little quiet at dinner. You've asked twice already if everything's alright. They keep saying yes. You believe them for a while, then the question comes back, worded slightly differently this time, like maybe that version will finally make it stick.
A weird twinge, three minutes on your phone, and now you know eleven things it could be. You close the tab feeling steadier. By tomorrow you're back, searching the same thing with slightly different words, hoping for a different answer.
You've written out what you're going to say, more than once. The number is right there. You'll definitely call after this next thing. And the next thing. It's not that you forgot. You just haven't felt ready yet, and you're not sure what "ready" is supposed to feel like.
You said yes to the plan two weeks ago. Today your chest is tight and you've already drafted the excuse text three different ways. You go, or you don't, and either way you spend the whole lead-up somewhere else in your head.
It's 11pm and you're replaying a five-minute conversation from Tuesday. Did that sound off. Should you send a follow-up just to smooth it over. You know the conversation was fine. Knowing that hasn't stopped the replay.
You picked your exit time before you'd even left the house. Twenty minutes in, you're scanning the room for a natural gap to slip out. You make it to the car and your shoulders finally drop. Next time, you tell yourself you'll stay longer. You plan the exit before you've even said yes.
You've asked three people what they'd do. Each answer made sense while you were hearing it. None of them settled anything, so you're circling back to a fourth person, hoping this time the answer sticks without you having to be the one who decides.
IF YES, THEN I CAN HELP YOU!
Not Broken, Just Looping
Checking twice, replaying the conversation, planning your exit before you've said yes: none of that means something's wrong with you. It means you've found a pattern that brings quick relief, so your mind keeps reaching for it.
That's learned. Which means it can be unlearned.
You're not broken. You're stuck in a loop that hasn't been interrupted

"I used to spend hours a day searching my symptoms, sure I'd find the one answer that would let me relax. Now a weird twinge is just a weird twinge. I still notice it. I don't disappear into it anymore."
Becca, London UK
"I must have asked 'are we okay?' a hundred times before I started. Robin helped me see what I was actually asking for, and how to sit with a few minutes of not knowing instead of needing an answer immediately. My relationship feels lighter, and so do I."
Michael, NY USA
"I was so terrified that my boss hated me that I took every look he gave me and made it mean something negative about me. It turns out this was just a pattern that had kept me looping for years and Robin broke that in days!"
Andy, Manchester UK
